Greetings from the 140 Team

Spring is here and with it comes the perfect opportunity to spring clean your day and pick back up those pre-winter healthy habits. To kick start this season, 140 is pleased to announce our new complimentary fruit offering to help you on your way to 5 a day - located in the End of Trip every Tuesday. We also encourage you to take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather and get outdoors and active. Concierge has picnic blankets on loan for you to go out and enjoy that sunshine and don't forget - for those needing a bit of extra motivation, we have 3 weekly fitness classes on offer on Level 10, just a short elevator ride away.

Building Connections

Last month was a busy one with the opening of the Christian Fletcher photography exhibition in our very own foyer. We also proudly supported NTI's charity quiz to raise funds for our farmers currently battling drought. Coming up this month we are joining forces with Earthchild Project to run a charity yoga class (19 October), so be sure to sign up for an added karma boost.

There's plenty more to look forward to at 140 including music and entertainment in Central Park (26 October - 7 December), National Recycling Week (12 - 18 November) and the Summer/Farmer Markets (14 November - 19 December). Keep an eye out on our events page in the portal as we release more details soon.

Coffee Cup Recycling

Did you know that coffee cups are not currently recyclable? They are also a main source of contamination for our recyclable waste. This month, we will be introducing a new Coffee Cup Bin where you can separate the cup, the lid (these are already recyclable) and the liquid, keeping our waste stream clean.

Each month we'd like to introduce you to someone new in the building so you get to know your 140 community further. This month, you'll meet Nilss Johnstone. Nilss has collectively worked at 140 for almost 20 years, what an incredible feat. He is also a passionate cyclist so find out more about Nilss and be sure to say hi next time you see him.
