Season's Greetings from the 140 Team

Can you believe it's December already and Christmas is only just around the corner. 2018 has been a busy year and we still have plenty planned for the festive season which you can find out about below. To kick things off, we welcome back the Salvation Army Band. They will be performing Christmas Carols in the forecourt from now until the 12th December between 12:00pm and 1:30pm and will be filling the lobby with Christmas cheer.

Christmas Sundowner

To celebrate 2018 coming to a close, we are hosting our annual festive sundowner in the lobby on the 13th of December from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. We'll have prizes, drinks and canapes and would love to see you all there!

Salvation Army Charity Ride Fundraiser

Along with our end of year celebrations we'd also like to give back. We are partnering with The Vault to host a charity ride in the lobby on the 13th December from 7:00am - 2:00pm. All funds raised will be donated to the Salvation Army and help to bring some joy to those in need at Christmas. Entry is a $20 donation and there are some great prizes to be won.

Melbourne Cup in Central Park

Once again we celebrated Melbourne Cup with our neighbours at Central Park with a Carnival themed extravaganza. It was a wonderful day with over 300 guests in attendance and we are already thinking how to make it bigger and better next year.

National Recycling Week

As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, 140 was happy to support National Recycling Week last month. Did you know that Australian's are the second highest producers of waste, per person, in the world with each person sending over 690 kilograms of waste to landfill each year. A huge thanks to WA Super who also donated 2500 'Sustainable Future' keep cups to give away from Madlilys Cafe - we love working with such wonderful partners.

So that is it from us this year. We hope you are all taking some time off to rest and celebrate with your families and friends over the festive season. While some of us here will be taking a break from the office, we will still be open excluding the public holidays so please don't hesitate to get in contact.
